We Need You!

Breen garden is maintained by dedicated parent volunteers and the wonderful Breen Bobcat community. Through donations and time volunteered we have been able to create this beautiful garden to provide our kids with a taste of nature! We are always looking for volunteers to help in a number of ways such as:

Garden Docents facilitate simple activities with your class about gardening and environmental stewardship, with focus on exploration and scientific inquiry of the natural world. All instructions and materials for activities are provided. Each class will be catered to the appropriate grade level.

Classes will meet with their docents approximately once per month, with the opportunity for more activities, if desired. Garden lessons are approximately thirty minutes long. No experience is needed!

Garden Team Members can also be those that wish to help with our garden outside of school hours. The Garden Team is looking for members with a number of skill sets, from fundraising and community outreach to communications and social media. These volunteers will be crucial for the maintenance and growth of our garden in a behind the scenes capacity.
